How the member opt-in works

Affirmative consent process

  1. A member signs in to UDEMS, opens their personnel profile, and confirms a mobile number they control.
  2. The SMS control defaults to “No — do not text.” Email consent is shown as a different control.
  3. To enroll, the member affirmatively selects “Yes — I agree to receive UDEMS Staff Notifications by SMS” beside the complete disclosure.
  4. The member saves the profile. UDEMS records the disclosure version, selection, date, source, and member identity.
  5. The member can later withdraw consent in the profile or reply STOP to an SMS.

No keyword, verbal, purchased-list, or third-party opt-in method is used for this program.
